A message from Senator Blood
I am Senator Carol Blood and I am asking to earn your vote for re-election to the Nebraska Legislature in District 3. I am a former Chamber of Commerce CEO, Nebraska business consultant, and entrepreneur. With my eight years of service on the Bellevue City Council and election to the Nebraska Legislature in 2016, I bring forward a solid track record of evidence-based decision-making, I have been and will remain tuned in to the voices and needs of our community:
- Safe Neighborhoods
- Strong Schools
- Successful businesses
- Minimizing middle class tax burdens
- Concerns of Area Seniors
- Protecting our Veterans & Military Families
Throughout my career in public service, I have made it my mission to call my constituents on a monthly basis. Each year I make thousands of personal phone calls and home visits to answer any questions, concerns or comments from my constituents. I never forget who I work for and although I can’t make everyone happy 100% of the time, I do work hard to make sure your voices are heard. I’m proud of this effort and this is a service that I will continue to provide.
I would be honored to have your vote on November 3. Together we can continue to make Sarpy County a great place to live and raise our families.

PROVEN LEADERSHIP
23 of my bills were passed into law between 2017 to 2020. Additionally, I co-sponsored additional bills that have also become law on a variety of topics important to my district.
ACTION-ORIENTED
As a public servant I have brought forward and supported major initiatives that have saved tax payers tens of millions of dollars. I have worked hard to protect what my constituents tell me is important to protect their quality of life here in Nebraska.
COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT
I continue to be a highly involved and visible citizen working to make our communities better places to live and raise our families.
CONSTITUENT FOCUSED
Each year I make thousands of personal phone calls and home visits to answer any questions, concerns or comments from my constituents. I never forget who I represent.
